Its easy to see that these days you have to be as self sufficient as possible, and that includes energy too.  California had rolling blackouts, there is bickering between the states about how much energy should be sold and bought.  We’re encouraged to scrimp on energy consumption in order to be more ‘green’.  Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to supply our own energy, free of cost and use as much or as little of it as we want?  That is exactly what solar power for homes can do for you.  If you install solar power, you can use it to power your appliances, hot water heater, and depending on how far you take it, you could even power your whole house with it.
