Currently, I am checking out online backup for my computer files. In that effort, I read Box Net Review to help me get a perspective on their security.
This review says Box.net “offers several layers of security, starting with SSL encrypted uploads and downloads of all files and folders. ” I am not very computer literate, so I did some investigation.
I still don’t totally understand it, but it was described as one computer connection contacting another computer connection and requesting a secure connection indicating which ciphers and digits it supports. Then the computers decide which security they will use. I guess we can believe that the site is secure or do more homework!
