I decided to upgrade the plumbing in our house in a moment of temporary insanity. I do not like plumbing, but a friend of mine convinced me that I could do this. Thankfully, the friend also mentioned using a diythemes discount. This saved me a bundle on material costs and kept me under budget. However, it did not keep me from breaking a rusty water main cut-off valve! I did not know that so much water could accumulate so quickly. We ended up replacing some carpet as part of this project as well. The money we saved helped with the carpet costs.
