to me the definition of art is something that tells a story or captures an emotion with an image or images. we learned that what makes art valuable is the fact that it is one of a kind and can not be easily reproduced. (iPhone 3GS Accessories) well that part is not avoidable really with digital art but i dont think that is the case anymore with the changing times art has to be more than something that carries a dollar value. it has to be inspiring it has to be breath taking and digital art is the new vehicle for that ride.
