We went down to the grand national steeplechase race, held at Aintree UK. The race course is famous for its dangerous fences and hairpin corners. The grand national has proven to be even more popualr as the years go by, and when the race started in 1856 is was home to many people at the racecourse. These days you are likely to see all kinds of people at the race, and we were taken back by the hospitality at Aintree on the day. The helpful staff couldn’t do enough for you, and we are sure to be back in the coming years for a revisit!
