My spouse and I were on vacation, celebrating our anniversary and we were always told to have traveler’s checks when traveling. Upon arriving at our tropical destination, we placed all of our valuables in a safe, but unfortunately were victims of a robbery. We were not the only ones, it was the entire floor. We called the company to replace the traveler’s checks, but it would take a little while and we had no cash and limited income available on our credit cards. We called our adult children and informed them that we needed them to transfer money to us temporarily until we came back from our vacation. They did of course, and we had an excellent vacation.
