Guam has adopted building with insulated concrete forms in the hopes of promoting more energy efficient housing in the area. Houses made from ICF forms will have a reduction of anywhere from 50-75% on the energy bill each month. Furthermore when building with wood concrete forms, along with the savings on power, Guam will also be saving the environment since most of the materials used can be recycled. Some ICF forms are also made out of recycled materials. ICF construction will help improve the quality of living environments in Guam.
