I just had the surprise of my life.  I received a holiday photo card from a friend, Melissa, who I haven’t heard from for twenty years.  And as she is also expecting a baby boy, birth announcements are enclosed in the holiday photo card she sent.  It turned out that she located me when she met my neighbor who attended the same convention that she went to.  I had stayed in the suburbs where I was born while her family moved to another state.She then emailed me that she will be in town for the holidays.  With the holiday photo card in hand, I readily recognized her when she walked out of the airport terminal. We chatted for ours and decided to invite old friends for old-time’s sake.  As she is having a baby boy, birth announcements, in lieu of invitation cards, were excitedly sent out to old friends.  And just like old times, we had a rocking pajama party.
