I was wondering about detox cleansing diets. I had thought they were just liquid diets and not very healthy, but then I learned about the other type of detox diet. It involves eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, grains (except wheat for some reason), beans, nuts and seeds, and sometimes fish. You are supposed to avoid all processed foods, red meat, and dairy. In a lot of ways this would be a really healthy diet, and I agree that it would be a good way to eat, except I would worry about getting enough calcium. I couldn’t do it though because I love dairy products!
