My father has been working for this one company for many years and we have always had the same health insurance with this same company.  My mother was talking with one of her friends and she was saying that they just got different insurance than what their job offered.  So my mother started looking around and found that we could get family health insurance on our own, with the coverage that best suits us, if we went on our own with a different company.  They are not sure if they are going to do it, but they said it’s nice to know that there are other options, just in case.
