Paid Surveys Etc.
Thursday, December 25th, 2008Another Druid stepped out from the circle, but unlike the others, he ignored the Romans across the valley. When he raised his hands, the other Druids ceased their movements and fell silent. The Celtic warriors followed suit so that even the wind could be heard whining in the valley. It was as if the Druid leader were alone on the hillside; all eyes were fixed on him as he trudged toward a flat outcropping of rock. His walk was slow and deliberate—the walk of an old man—and his left leg had a decided limp. Paid Surveys Etc. mounted the raised rock with unusual spring for an old man who limped.
