I started with one credit card and that was easy to keep track of. Then we had to get a credit card to pay for our home improvements. It was all too easy to add to that card as I paid on the balance so that it never went down. In fact none of my balances went down and then they seemed to start going up. It was slowly at first and then it just took off. If it was not for the availability of an IVA we would have been crushed by the debt. Now we have it under control and our balance is shrinking.
