The internet has opened up so many new ways to search public records. There are government sites which will allow you to put in a name and you will be able to see if there have been any arrests, traffic violations, domestic disputes etc. It is really informative if you are wondering about someone’s behavior or if you are being lied to. The interesting thing about public records is they don’t lie and the records date back a long time, so even if something you’ve done was a long time ago, people can still look you up and find out what you did.
