When my uncle served in vietnam, he said that was when they first used the “warrior helicopter”. That is what he said they would call the Kiowa helicopter. He said he first got to ride in one in the late 60′s when it was first introduced out there. Now every time we go to an air show or war museum, he always looks for one. Last time we were at a show, they had the latest model that was being used today. He was in awe. He said the features had changed so much he couldn’t believe it. He always says it is the best helicopter out there.
