Given the current states of the economy and Japan’s dependency on U.S. imports, there is a growing interest among Japan’s heads of state to renew trade and defense talks. New talks will certainly mean new demand for Japanese Translation Service in the U.S. and abroad. One issue that is of great concern to the United States is the future of its Marine base in Japan that the Japanese want to have relocated. In addition, Japan has expressed an interest in discussing its needs of addressing concerns such as terrorism, the financial crisis, and climate change. Japan wants to be more involved in international politics and be able to respond to global issues.
