I spent years working as a secretary, making an average salary and disliking my job. Finally, when I was over forty, I decided I would get my college degree.
Because I didn’t qualify for any financial aid, I had to take out a college loan. Fortunately I was able to get a loan with reasonable interest and excellent repayment terms.
Going to school and working was tough but I completed my degree in less than three years. Almost immediately I was offered a well-paying job which made paying by debts very easy. Although I’m not usually a big fan of borrowing money, that particular debt was a wise investment.
