I’m finding a lot of good material online for our research. Some of the best primary sources are the old historical radio broadcasts. Who knew at the time that these audio shows would survive to help paint a picture of the world at war? It’s obvious by the fact that some were archived that someone had an idea they might be of value or interest.
I’m thankful to them, in any case and for whatever reason they saved the recordings. They’re adding a much needed sense of perspective to our work. Making it much easier to put myself into the minds of the people of the time (and of their leaders).
