If you have a guitar for sale, then I recommend that you consider selling it online. Craig’s list or eBay are great choices.
With Craig’s list you can narrow down your market so that you are only advertising in your city or state. On eBay you will tend to be selling to the entire country.
When you post your ad, try and include a clear and detailed picture of the guitar that is for sale. Also make sure that the description is accurate. Don’t try to hide blemishes or any other possible problems. Since the person buying your guitar can’t personally see or try it out, you want them to order knowing as much about the instrument as possible. If there are any unpleasant surprises, they will probably just return it and that is a hassle.
