I think the biggest myth surrounding how to learn and master guitar is based on the misconception that you have to go through a private lesson to truly learn how to play. This could not be further from the truth. In the 21st century you see, an invention has come along called the “DVD” that has completely changed the world.
On these “DVD’s,” an individual can now purchase a private course from an expert or two who demonstrates and teaches the same things you would learn from a private lesson at a much cheaper cost. If you want to pay a lot of money and take up a lot of time, sure, a private lesson makes sense. But if you want to get with the 21st century I highly recommend you learn from a DVD course.
